Have a Rooftop Drink and Celebrate Spring
Spring is here in Valencia. The sun is shining and the parks and streets are lined with blossoming trees and flowers in full bloom and in my book, there is no better way to celebrate than to enjoy a glass of rosé in the sun while soaking up splendid views on a nice rooftop.
There are a few rooftop bars here in Valencia however with Covid restrictions still place, some of them sadly are closed.
Never fear though, I did the ground work for you and called around a few of my favorites to find out which ones are open and confirm their opening times. Here they are:
Àtic Resto Bar - Palau Alameda
Àtic Bar and Restaurant is definitely one of Valencia’s hot-spots and is the perfect place for a sunny lunch and cocktails. It doesn’t look like much on the outside but the bar and restaurant on the inside are a completely different story. Vibrant, chic, filled with plants and personality, Àtic is a really nice place to hang out and enjoy great food paired with delicious cocktails. They’re also serving a nice brunch on Sunday, here is the menu to take a look.

270° Terrace Barceló Valencia
The 270° Terrace Rooftop Bar sits up high above Valencia’s popular Hotel Barceló.
This L-shaped bar has an incredible 270° view with stretching views of Valencia’s skyline, you can also enjoy views with a different perspective of the city looking over the Turia Park and the City of Arts and Sciences.
The music is relaxed and there is a nice easy atmosphere, perfect for lounging in in the sun.

ATICO ATENEO
Right in the city center and perched on top of the Ateneo Mercantil de Valencia-building, ATICO ATENEO has striking views of some of the city’s remarkable buildings including the City Hall and central Plaza. Half indoor, half outdoor, the atmosphere is relaxed with modern lounge style decor. The cocktails are tasty but you can also enjoy sangria and ice-cold beer.

La Teraccita del Palace
La Terracita which means “little terrace” is a charming astro-turf covered, open-air spot found at the top of the SH Valencia Palace Hotel right opposite the Palau Alameda. It too has an easy and relaxed atmosphere and serves great cocktails, it also has a nice wine list. A tasty fixed menu of traditional local food including paella is being served at lunchtime.
